ooops I think you saved your original file with "transparency or some other setting on" ... just save it as a normal animated gif before loading it into the GIF optimizer then you should get this ...

But nice work pal

When it should look like this

I'm also abit confused here. lol. The only difference i see in those two are the file sizes. Anyway, got the job done. And a big thanks to you for sharing this animation tip. I learned something new today. Well done, nick.

Soz pal but maybe I've gone bog eyed but your original image looks like this (large white areas missing)

When it should look like this

Dunno maybe its just on my screen ... maybe the others could let us know .... I'm a bit cuffuzzled

They look different to me, The top one only flashes to the whole avatar for a split second, the bottom one is there all the time, they are both doing the peel thing but something is missing on the top one except for that split second it lays flat.
I don't know if that makes sense to you, but that's what I'm seeing.

Both animations display time are the same from what i see. I hardly notice any difference at both animations. :shock:

No no pal your doing fine .. keep up the good work .... it looks like you may have found the problem with your browser. When you save the file as an animated gif don't turn on any transparency or other settings ... then when you open your image with GIF optimizer you shouldn't have any problems and the file should be shrunk to an acceptable size ... we all learn from our mistakes (not your fault) which makes us better artists in the end
