The avatar's looking good - can't see a white border :-) Transparent areas turn white if you save them as a JPG file. The PNG format preserves transparent pixels - which is why most of the sigs are PNG files.

I think its because I use the black theme for the forum. I put an orange border around the avatar but it still apply's a white outside aswell
