In the meantime... a signature with organ pipes. I had always wanted to create a sig involving a pipe organ/church organ and after lots of research, photographing a local church organ, designing, deleting and other oddities, I finally managed to produce...an oddity. So, good night everyone!

entered a competition last week from one of our local newspapers for a laugh, to create a logo for a local business (there's a bit more on the right but I can't show it because of the address and stuff) ... winner gets a laptop..... I won .....

During the presentation I was then told I was the only one who entered

Thanks for the kind words, everyone :-D It was a real challenge making the sig, because I had no idea how to incorporate a huge object like a pipe organ into a small image... in addition, church organs have a bewildering variety of construction (layout, organ cases etc.), so I decided to leave out the case and just stick with generic pipes.

Dennis, here are two pieces of music (and no, I cannot play the organ - only the violin); one is extremely lively and the other is very spiritual, usually played around Pentecost, and (in my opinion) perfectly suitable for "everyday use"
