I've created Athene's shape but is there a way to save it as a custom shape so I don't have to reuse it every time?

That's definitely a good idea. I have about 20 sigs that I change every now and then.

Hi Jaidyn, here is how you save the shape as a custom shape for future use:

When you have finished creating your custom shape, select its layer (in the Layers palette, click on the layer which contains the custom shape and press the Ctrl key on your keyboard at the same time). You will see that the shape is now surrounded by marching ants on the main screen.
Now go to the Paths tab (it's attached to the Layers palette), and then click on this icon - it's at the bottom of the palette:

This will convert the selection into a path (you can see it in the Paths palette in this image, outlined in red).

Next, making sure that this new path is selected in the "Paths" palette (as shown in the image), go to "Edit", and choose "Define Custom Shape...". A box will pop up with a thumbnail view of your custom shape; give it a name and save it; and the next time you want to use a preloaded shape, it will be there with the other shapes (in this image, you can see it at the very end of the queue)

lol thats because i wanted to make it different.. but ended up making it look funny told u the shape of the sig does not match with the idea of the sig. hope ya got that .... grrr - lack of ideas :banghead:
