Custom Made Sig and Avatar [9]

A new sig for Archie. Took me about half and hour to do as I'm still learning to make orbs properly. The thing I'm having trouble with is trying to make it look glassy (for example, like the ones in Nick's sigs). Any tips?

Anyway, here it is. Hope you like it.

I had the same issue when I was still an "orbling" (= learning how to make an orb ;-D ).
Archie helped me - have a look at his post over here; you can also download a PSD file which will show you what the layers look like, then you'll see how you need to proceed:

Thanks for that Athene. As always, this is a great mini-tut.

However, I've so far been able to make the orb using the gradients and ellipses. I have a 3 or so on my orb with the opacity lowered so it isn't too shocking bright. What I was really curious about was how to make an orb particularly glassy like the one in Dennis' sig (here).

The answer is easy - ask my hubby Nick ) He created Dennis's sig and he's an orb crack :-D

Wow! That's gorgeous, Yussi! Thanks a bunch! Just a small thing: the fingers of the ballerina's extended hand are cropped off (because of the sig border); would it be possible to shrink the ballerina a bit so that her hand fits within the sig size? )
