Thanx, please help on how to make the corners not so wrinkly, I no its suppose to wrinkle like foil,but I'd prefer it be smooth. And thanx for applying it.

Here is a Mario bro one that I have been working on for a while,saving and editing, I know it looks plain,but the clouds had to be hand imported. You can if you want use this when you long for the good old days haha

No it doesn't You did a great job. Remember, as I always say, practice makes perfect. The more you make the better you get. Don't be too harsh on yourself, Archie and Yussi and the other GFX artists have had a lot of practice. You're doing well.

I know the feeling of thinking your own work sucks. When I'm trying to make sigs, they don't come out the way I first visualise but when I look at them in a few days when the user is wearing it, they always look better. If you hit a complete stall, stop for the day. Come back and work on the sig tomorrow, you will then go ahhhh, that's what it needed! I do that myself.

Nick (PooManUK) is pretty much the GFX God here and he's made some tutorials on Youtube. He uses Corel but the techniques can be used in PS and other graphics programs. poomanuk - YouTube

Thank you Tekno Venus , I like the more colorful, animated/child like sigs more. Like the one I made for Yussi a while back, or my worms one or the Mario one, I prefer adding lots of colors and fun stuff. But My idea for Arc's Final fantasy chrome look,was to be a mirror finish black and white type thing.

And yeah, Arc thats was the way it shouldhave looked on the corners, but the rest should be more like a mirror type look. But like you guys said, with practice I will make it perfect.

Arc, I used your frame (hope you don't mind) and added the same technique for the mirror look, but the sides are still bothering me, I added it onto the Mario Bro's one,here is a preview. It still isn't right, but thanks to your help I am getting closer

Hmm ... the output of RGB is doing that stuff there. You are to fix it by trial and error in levels and and curves, I think.

But, you are really getting closed.

Need some help with custom signature

Simply put, I cant seem to figure out how you guys keep the rounded borders on your sigs. I am using a .gif, but have tried others as well. I know there is nothing wrong with the photo its self, there is no background and if i place it on any other photo, drag it onto the web, or upload it to photo bucket, it seems to work fine. but it wont work on this site. I know there is something I'm missing. Just change your theme to black to see what i mean by the white border around my sig. I see other people have this too. all i want is just rounded corners 7 forums... is that to much to ask for?

Atm you will be able to use = 650x100, upload the file in .png format. Power Users and later will be = 650x150.
