Custom PC randomly restarts..

idk whats going on..every other day or so it resatrts without any error without nothing..i check the event viewr and this is all i see....oh and most of the time it happens in the middle of the night when im asleep..

specs pretty much are Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit --Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.7GHz--8GB RAM--1.5 Barracuda--NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260

i might try to move the RAM around..its the same ram nothings different..but idk what to do..

You should go into system control panel and un check the auto reboot in the advanced section.

alright did that..it stopped for a while..but today once at 4am and anotehr at 6pm the restarts started again...and i check and "automnatic restart" is still unchecked from when i did it...

Go into Device Manager > double click on "Network Adaptors" > right click on the adaptor > Properties > Power Management button > uncheck " Allow this device to wake up the computer" --- that's all.

ok..done it..thanks..what exactly does this do?

It ignores interrupts that come from the internet and wake up the computer (e.g. when Microsoft wants to install automatic updates - which they often do at night). But don't worry, the updates will come next time you boot the system.
