I think the reason that you have different text color and you don't see the images, might be cause you probably have firefox as your default browser, and the gadget uses the default system browser to display stuff?? could be...or not.

must be, I closed it and it's normal now.

I've noticed that if I click on the links in the Who's online flyout, I get a 404 Not Found for all except if I click on one to the home page. Odd.

must be, I closed it and it's normal now.

Yes, the gadget in order to keep you sinded in to retrieve data, it sends your username and password on each request..it's normal, except it messes a bit with your real status

Probably, but in the previous version it was a link to a web page for testing purposes.
It should be embedded in the gadget, but that's a long way from now...

Some people might like that. I'm just not one of them. Could it be turned on or off somehow.

I got a manual fix for you...
First close the gadget...and:

1. Open shell:gadgets
2. Open the gadget folder and edit the file sevenforums.html
3. There are 3 instances in this file where the height is changeable.
on top, where it says:

  body {
   width:389;
   height:[B]690[/B];
   padding:0;
   margin:0;
   background:#388ec1;
  }

change height from 690 to say...800 or 900, depending on your screen resolution.

4. Also, find this line :

<g:background src=undockedx.png style="position:absolute; left: 0px; top: 0px; width:389px; height:690px; z-index:-999;" />

and change the height here too, from 690 to the same you used above.

Finally, there's also this line:

..... marginwidth="1" marginheight="0" height="660" border="0" scrolling=no frameborder="0" width="360"

now here you must use a height of -30 of the one you used above.
e.g. if you used 800, you should set this to 770.

Save the file, re-open the gadget to test.
