Great gadget. I've been using it for the last couple of days and love it.
The only problem I have found is that if my browser isn't open, clicking on a link doesn't open it. It works fine when the browser is already open.

Other then that, great job!

I couldn't sleep last night (it's 7.50 am in Greece now) so I thought I should give it a go with creating gadgets...

I created one that lists the latest posts of this forum.

Feel free to download and test it.

It's a beta version, I'll be doing some upgrades, fixing the looks and stuff.

Please post feedback and bugs, if you like it.

Just an update:

I finally found time and managed to simulate login to the vbulletin forum using actual usernames and passwords.

This means I can integrate user-specific functions to the gadget , e.g. new private messages, last login time, total messages, etc. I can also integrate indications that if you're not logged in you cannot see. (who's online etc). In other words, you can use the gadget as if you were logged on to the forum.

I'll give it some work with the gadget, I will change layout, and I will include flyouts. Still on beta but might move to RC after these...

New Version 1.9 (added flyout and more)

Ok, new version is ready for testing.

I have made some changes, some minor and some major.
I don't want to reveal everything, you should see for yourselves.
However, I'm not sure of how it works on your systems. On mine, it works as expected, so I'll need some testers and feedback for once more.

Known bugs: Sometimes the VIP section appears incorrectly. Must be something in the forum's text layout. Some other times, it's fine.

Please uninstall old version first. (Right click on it in the gadget list-uninstall)

Latest version is marked 1.9 (RC)

Have it installed, but I signed in, wouldn't accept said authentication error. closed the gadget, reopened and was logged in.

I tried it as a guest, how do I log out from being a guest to try the login version?

was it logged in as airbot? You can see "You private messages" and "last login time" at the bottom?
Otherwise it's logged in as guest.
