Yes very nice. The SevenForums Gadget and the SevenForums Clock are great gadgets. The clock is very special with its various skins and other options. Kudos go out to the developers of these two gadgets.

I have noticed lately when I use the gadget my CPU % is very high ?

Can't think of any major changes that I have done or running any more stuff, In fact
even less gadgets than I used to run in the past :huh:

Strange, Doc. I am now using a laptop similar than mentioned in my specs, only difference being smaller HD. WMP, Outlook, Word and Excel are running, as well as Firefox. SF Gadget on. CPU usage between 8 and 25 %, mostly under 15 %.

Doc I have been having the same problem for months. Got to where gadget was using 30% of dual processors. Only way I found to resolve it was with a repair install

I have a slightly different problem see pic.

Here's mine today freshly installed on a fresh build of 7 everything all spanking new.
Still a blank page and someone else as an avatar.? Has the CPU up to 10%, when I turn
it off the reading goes back down to zero.

Here is mine on my other x64 box. Just fired it up to get Windows updates, & AVG updates. Gadget seems fine on this one. Only at 52% cpu useage. :shock:

I seem to have my old problem, always. Gadget would be nice to use, and I would use it more, but at least for me it is a PITA because it don't refresh.

When I relaunch it, it keeps refreshing anywhere between 5 minutes and half an hour, then no more. I have to close and relaunch to get it to refresh. And then again, after few minutes, maximum half an hour, the same again.

I've noticed that because of this issue, I'm using less the gadget and more Live Posts, which is of course not the same because of the missing chat feature.

two possibilities. First firewall. Does it attempt to log on then return to the blank page?

What browser are you using? Gadget works with the browser so maybe you have private viewing on in the browser.

Kari what do you have refresh set to? What SF skin are you using?
