I told you earlier that I am not good enough with vector art (I mean Corel Draw), But PooMan taught me a technique to have a vector copy of any image. I triedsarc
with that logo . it is exported to png format .
Thanks Arc - I am intrigued by the idea of converting from raster to vector. Can you, or PooMan, pass along the technique (or point to the thread)?
I understand that the PNG format is rapidly becoming a favored compression. But doesn't it make for larger files though? If given the choice between TIFF, JPEG (including .jp2), PNG, etc... why choose PNG?
Here is my final edit on what started out as a simple experiment...
