Nice wallpapers but the first one looked a bit grainy and the contrast seemed out so I had a bit of a go at cleaning it up.

Hey mr G thank V much , call me an ass but how do i get the blue taskbar to show in dark7, im a bit noobish and can only get themes to run if all i have to do is copy two files into resources /themes,

Change task bar buttons to always combine (right click task bar then properties)

Greets A, it is (combined) what im trying to do is use dark7 ultimate theme and replace the taskbar in dark 7 to the blue neon taskbar in neon theme. i think mr grim has given me the means c'ept i aint got the knowhow,

As Anthony said, you need to set the taskbar to always combine and if you are using extra toolbars they need to set to display small icons.

Ok got that ,thing is i just wanted to have one taskbar (neon ,blue). but i want to use it with the dark7 theme cos i love the dark window background, is it poss . i dont mean to come across as thick though it may seem that way

That was exactly what I posted for you, the Dark7 Ultimate theme with the taskbar from the Neon theme.

i guessed that u had when i pasted it into windows/resources/themes however...
when i selected it feelin real privilaged it wasnt the dark7 theme or the neon bar that showed ,thats why i figured i needed to do it differently.
i aplologize for the noobiness but ....heres a screenie of how it looks when i select dark7 neon

That's very strange, I just tested it again on mine and it seems to change fine, I haven't tested the 32 bit one though yet so maybe there is a problem with it for some reason, it would be good if someone else can try it out and let me know if they are having the same problem.

i have a similar problem - non of the custom themes dont change the start button image and a few more parts.

Start button is changed by a bitmap image in the explorer.exe, Themes cannot change the start button (not yet, or i don't think so)
