@WindowsStar: Yes it can be made of any size! its 1024x1024 sized, res 300 (The compass).

@LilDomii: I am uploading the PSD file for further help to anyone.

@The Howling Wolves: PSD is photoshop format, its uncompressed, with all layers (P hoto S hop D efault = PSD, as far I know). Its the best uncompressed format overall after Camera RAW format as a whole.

Forgot to say, thats the compass. I added lighting effect, drop shadow later after adding it to the background!

@EdNygma: Yes, I only have PS, just recently downloaded Gimp as advised by Arc. I am thinking of a clock now, it can be easily made a Gadget. Dont know the when will get the time!
