d-link wireless adaptor

hello
i have windows 7 and am trying to conect to the internet wirelessly through a d-link dwa-130c. I think it has installed properly i followed the cd provided typed in my router name (SSID)and network key and it shows up as an available connection option but when i select it it says unable to connect .I must add i know nothing about about computers so any abvise is very welcome and appreciatated

going to control panel > system and security > device manager

went to system and control>system and security but no device manager only options are action centre -window fire wall-system-windows update-power options-backupand restore-windows anytime upgade-administrative tools thats it

i found device and printers in the start menu and the adaptor shows and if i double click a window apears it says the divice is working properly

hello sorry for the less explain. when you open the device manager. and if you want to attach in here. just click on attachment and browse your image you save to, then upload. after that you can attach in message.
