just installed Daikatana and game will not start I have installed on this PC before with no trouble and have made no changes since any ideas?

Do you have the steam version? Try running the game on compatibility mode.

No I don't have the steam version using a disc. I have tried comp. mode with no luck.

Daikatana was broken when it was released. No surprise it doesn't work on modern systems.

causey maybe you didn't read the post, I have installed it on this computer before and it worked fine. I think the problem is that steam has taken over this game and some others and they wont work on pc's. I had the same problem with borderlands so I contacted 2K games and that's what they said and sent me a code to use the steam version very nice of them. I cant seem to get in touch with the makers of doom 3 so here I am!
