daily BSODs (buzzing prior to BSOD)

Hi, I'm looking for some help in an area of computing of which I am unfamiliar.

I read the sticky but for some reason I don't have any logs in my Minidump folder after several crashes. I do however have Event Viewer reports if those are useful to you guys.

I started having this issue maybe 2 months ago so I got some help from my friends and they recommended testing my ram with memtestx86 so I did that and it came out with a ton of errors. So I sent my rma'd my ram out to corsair and got new sticks back in about 10 days. Right when I got them I reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled Windows 7 x64. After that I just assumed my computer woes would be over and life would return to normal. BUT NO, I started to get a buzzing sound in my headset when gaming everyday and then a BSOD.

So I talk to my friends again, show them some Event Viewer parses and they recommend a new hard drive, so I run it through that hard drive checker program and it comes out fine so I don't really want to drop money on something if I don't know it's going to fix anything.

Also I called ASUS (manufacturer of my p6t mobo) and they recommended I update my chipset so I did that but I'm still having errors.

Thanks, if you need any further information I'll be happy to provide and hopefully after the next crash they'll be a minidump log, but I do have event viewer crash logs.

What antivirus and do you use daemon or alchohol 120%?
What is your firewall?

Buzzing, too? Check your audio card and drivers.

Im not running an AV right now. I was running game booster prior to sending back myram, and am only using Windows firewall.

Yeah I took a look at my sound drivers and some others most looked fine.

The exceptions were the sound drivers, something called standard dual channel pci ide controller, and another thing called atk0110 acpi utility.

Going to download new beta sound driver, and I'm going to need to be filled in on the other 2 said drivers.

Your motherboard loads standard with the storage controller driver as Marvell 61xx RAID Controller .. You would "update" the driver to Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller to have the system recognize IDE hard-drives. Is your hdd SATA as-well as CD-ROM?

If the BSOD happens again, a dmp report would answer a lot of questions.

Dont worry about the BSOD, just enjoy your computer. If it does happen again, we will compare the new report with the information that we have. This will get solved.

Just had a bsod with the buzzing reverb again. This time it yielded a mimidump file, uploading it now.

Called asus they had me manually enter some ram settings, the motherboard was setting the ram to 1066 instead of its default 1333 so maybe that will fix it.

Memory problems can be caused by bad the settings, hope it works out.

Yeah it had the same bsod again today, guess I'll try drivers.
