Damaged Win 7 install disc

i currently am running win 7 64 bit H premium edition and my beast of a pc could do with a format to tidy it up a bit, i noticed that my disc has inherited a nice huge scratch (heres where i blame the kids) lol and am guessing that it will not install due to possible damage

i have a legitimate code key and was wondering can i use someone elses version of 64 bit just to load it on and then activate using my key or does it not work that way???

i have loads of x86 versions of diff OS but the one version of x64 i end up damaging

am i screwed? lol

Providing you have a legitimate product key you can use another Windows 7 DVD to install Windows on your system.

You say you have a good product key. Is it a retail key or an OEM key?

You can use your key with another install disc - you need one that lets you install the correct Edition - e.g. Premium, Pro, Ult that matches your key
