Dark Notes Gadget Bug.

I had the same problem.....fixed it.

I just ran head first into a BSOD last Thursday. Couldnt fix it, ended up having to do a complete reinstall of Windows 7. When I went to the gadgets page to go put back the ONE gadget I use religiously (Black & Dark notes) it was gone. GRRR.....spent the last two days scouring the forums, Bing, Microsoft to no avail. Finally, duh (smack forehead here) I looked in my windows.old file in my Downloads folder and sure enough.....there it was. (I know when you're downloading stuff it tells you just to hit the run button but I always save instead and then Run). In this instance.......it saved my favorite gadget. Just thought I'd give my two cents.....maybe it will help someone in the future.

Well I made the same mistake wyvonef73 made and uninstalled my black and dark notes gadget. Unfortunately, I don't have a backup of the file. If someone would be so kind as to send, post, or in some other way share with me either that file (or even the original W7 notes gadget - since I deleted that one at the same time), I would appreciate it very much!
