date and time changes on restart

every time I restart my Laptop, the date and the time changes to 1/1/2010 and 12PM.
I have windows7 professional service pack1 32bit.
Can anyone help me with this problem?

Some of the more common reasons for the time/date changing:
1. CMOS battery on motherboard needs to be replaced.

2. Time/Date in BIOS not set correctly

3. Internet time synchronization isn't working (see Warnings for additional tips)

4. Internet time synchronization update interval needs to be changed
