Hi guys
I think none of you have face with this problem
I open the (.exe) extension with windows media palyer and I check the "allways use the selected program to open this kind of file" and I click OK
what happen is the extension media palyer come through all of my (.exe) so I can not install or open any software
Anyone can help we with this problem???

You need to edit the default associations for that file type.

Control Panel > Programs > Make a file type always open in a specific program.
Scroll through the sets of associations until you find what you need.

OR​

Right click the file in question > Properties > General tab > Type Of File > Change > Choose a program from the list

OR​

You can also use the registry method to reset the file associations to default:
(Applies to Vista, but should be the same in 7)

   Warning

Do not peform registry edits unless you've backed up your registry beforehand.

1. Click Start Menu, and then type regedit in the Start Search and press ENTER.
2. Navigate to the following registry branch:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\FileExts\[ext]

Replace the [exe] with the actual file extension that you want to restore its file type association to revert back to original Windows default. If you unsure, simply browse through all the sub-key under FileExts.
3. Delete the sub-key named UserChoice.
4. Exit from Registry Editor.
