Solved default gateway issue

no worky

I did what you asked, no work. I uninstalled/reinstalled lan driver, no work. Since I had such 1 hell of a time with the driver installation, with this windows installation, I wonder if I shouldn't just start from scratch, since I'm getting nowhere going this direction? It'd be quicker to just redo windows, as pull what little hair I have left.
About 2 wks ago, I had installed a nividia vid card in the system, and some thought that would not work, do to diff. chipset manufact. By doing this, I had some video issues and uninstalled drivers, reinstalled drivers, etc. B-4 I did all this, I had NO issues with the internet. I'm ready to restore, If there are no other avenues of troubleshooting. Please advise.

I bet installing those nvidia drivers could have easily screwed things up, I have had issues with drivers before that I have had to reinstall the system from scratch. It was easier than the alternative, you know drmax my wife thinks I'm the most finicky person around if the system is just working perfectly I will do a clean install! I don't care to me I can't stand knowing if there are things wrong from a mistake I made. If you do re-install and make a mistake make sure that right after that mistake you use system restore right after you make it and not a week down the road because chance are it will not work. If you can do a system restore by all means do that if you can't get it to restore then I would personally reinstall it and always make a restore point prior to making large changes to the system and better yet a clean system image with Macrium or some other good imaging software.

yeah, this is kicking my ars and i'm not up for that. i will try a restore point for the heck of it, then i'm just gonna redo this. i may even just grab a ati compatible graphics card, so i know the drivers will not (shouldn't) interfere. i'll let you know what i come up with here, in a few hrs. thx bro
