Default Mail

Hi

I am trying to set Windows Live Mail as default in 7/64 for Word 2007 etc, but it is not listed in control panel/default settings.

Any help please

I have already done this, but WLM is not in the default programs listing, it lists other live programs like photo viewer but no WLM

Have you tried setting it as default in WLM itself?

Go to the top left click down menu, options, mail, then on the general tab at the bottom, make default.

I cant find this on my WLM page, my top left drop down box is Windows Live & there are no options in there, maybe i'm a bar missing

Some people have mistaken Windows Live HOTMAIL as Windows Live MAIL.

Are you one of them ?

Whenever there are multiple members replying to your post, and your reply is meant for one specific member, use the Quote button of that member, then compose your reply. Just like I have done in this reply of mine.
That way there is no confusion to whom you are replying.

Sounds to me like windows live mail isn't even installed.

If what you are seeing is what t-4-2 has posted, that is the browser version not the installed email, which would also explain why it isn't listed in the default programs.
