Default programs

I have loaded microsoft suite 2003 on my computer but the default program for .doc items remains word 2007 which I do not wish to buy. How do I get the default program changed to the 2003 version that is loaded instead of the 2007 version I don't wish to buy?

If you're referring to saving all Word docs as 2003 docs, I think this is what you're looking for: MS Office Word : Set Default Save Location

Something to try:

* Right click any .doc document in your PC
* Click Properties
* Find Opens with: Click the "Change" button
* Click the Microsoft Word 2003 Icon
* Press OK
