I messed with the graphics and xml files of the default windows 7 clock and I was wanting the original back. Could someone upload the original clock from "C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets\Clock.Gadget" or maybe there is a way to extract from the win7 install disc? The http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/10215-gadgets-restore-default-gadgets.html tutorial does not apply here because it only restores the modified clock.

Thanks.

Hello Kevin,

You might see if running a sfc /scannow command may be able to restore the system file back to default.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

I will try that tomorrow, I was just hoping for a quicker easier fix by just replacing the data that I changed.

Thanks, Brink.

The SFC scan should be able to do that for you by replacing the modified file with a default copy of that file that you would not have been able to modify.

If it doesn't work for you after you give it a try, I'll be happy to upload a copy of it for you. It just would be easier if SFC will be able to fix it for you automatically. That's all.
