I managed to contact Seagate for a general enquiry and got this email back and I thought everyone would appreciate seeing what they say. Although it doesn't say it in so many words they are saying I think that defragging is not good for these drives, I did reply to say that I researching on behalf of the forum and she has listed as you can see the forum as a point of reference

You are absolutely right about one thing, Solid State Drives (SSD) do not need to be defragmented. Doing so may shorten the lifespan of the SSD drive.
Although here at Seagate we are champions of hard drives, please take note that we are not champions of Microsoft (simply because we did not undergo training by Microsoft. Duuh)
But, since I am never one to turn down a friendly request , I have found out a solution which might help you. Basically I went online and found out ways to disable disk defragmentation on an SSD ( you just might never know when you might accidentally do it)
