Delayed printing on serial port with Zebra LP 2844

Hi guys,

Have a Zebra UPS LP 2844 printer, my USB port on the back of it is busted.

So I bought a usb-to-serial adapter, installed the adapter software from c2g.

I reinstalled the zebra printer on com port 3.

I can get the printer to print, but it takes 2-3 minutes for it to start. You can queue items as well, but only the firs item in queue seems to print.

I have bi-directional printing selected under the printer properties. Attached are some screen shots.

Any help would be great.
