Try Free Paragon Rescue Kit Express .Boot the cd, select Normal mode - if it sees the file you can delete it. If it doesn't see the file, it isn't there.

On occassion, I have had a problem like this, but as the error message suggests, it would appear that the file isn't really there, even though it appears to. I'm not certain which thing might work best, but I would try rebooting to cause Windows Explorer to start fresh, and if that didn't work, I would run my registry editor, looking for anything that specifically mentions the file and deleting it.

How can it not be compatible ?

It is a boot disc

It works by booting the cd - it loads into ram - it has nothing to do with the installed operating system.

Were you trying to run it from within windows ? - that won't work -it's not supposed to work that way.

To "Boot" a cd /dvd :

Start the pc.

Watch the white writing on the black screen. It will say something like:

F2 for setup
F11 for boot menu

(Your F numbers may be different) Press whatever key it tells you for boot menu.

A menu will pop up.

Arrow down to cdrom drive. Put the cd in the drive and close the tray.

Press Enter. A few secs later it will ask "press any key to boot from cdrom drive". Press Enter again.

The contents of the cd will start loading into memory (ram).

Windows does not start - you are starting the program on the cd instead.

In the case of Paragon - on the first screen , select Normal Mode, it takes a couple of secs to load. On the Second screen, select File Transfer Wizrad.

Browse the Drive. If you see the naughty file , click it to highlight it , then click the Delete button.

If the naughty file is not visible, it's not there.

Hope it helps.

Nice desktop wallpaper btw.

I believe stumbleupon re-creates this file every re-boot so you may want to remove the stumble addon in your browser...
