Hello, i have a question regarding Windows Updates and the folder SoftwareDistribution in Windows folder. It contained the folder Download taking almost 2 GB of space. I renamed SoftwareDistribution to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution.old and restarted the laptop. Everything was fine so i deleted the folder "DOwnload" and everything was. No asking for updates, but today it says there are 42 new updates. I went to the summary to see what the updates were about and notices they are the same i already had. Are they really on the system or did the were deleted after i deleted the folder? I want to know so i can just hide the updates in the list to avoid asking again for updates (at east those).
