Solved Delete Tab

Hi.Running windows 7 home premium.
Is it possible to have a delete option on the tool bar as per image,

Before you do that did you click the "Take ownership" link in the tutorial and follow all the instructions?

Hi,Yes I had a go while this forums was open.But I will print out the diagrams and info from Brinks tutorial and will have a closer look later.
As I must leave now due down hospital with my good lady,Will get back to you this evening.

Well David, I hate to say it but I think you just might have missed something along the way. If not then this is the first time I have ever heard that one of Brink's tutorials doesn't work! Before today I would have said that "pigs will fly" before that happened!
Might be a good idea to start from scratch again.

I'm Sorry if I wasted your time,But I tried again did it very slow and followed on screen instructions and ath end that damn error box appeared again maybe the last time it will come up as I'm giving up.And stick to the right click of the mouse for the delete option.

Try moving the file manually to your desktop, then try the merge command.

trendy, You certainly have not wasted my time. if it doesn't work for you, it doesn't work, full stop. It's just that Brink has such a fine reputation for his tuts that when they don't work I tend to looks for another cause. I will have a go at the install later and report how I get on.

Try right clicking the reg file and go to properties. Click the unblock option and click ok. Right click the reg file and run as admin. Click yes, then yes again. Restart the computer.

Hello David,

I'm sorry that manual method didn't work out for you. It's a bit tricky to do, so it could have been anything that may have caused it to not work.

You might see if using OPTION ONE or OPTION TWO in the tutorial below to add a Delete button to the command bar may work better for you instead.

Well I Must thank you all today for all the help given to me from you all,Its been a very tying day with the delete tab and down the hospital with my good lady.
Conclusion to the story,Brink your last reply solved my headache that bit of software done exactly what I required.It was so simple.
