Deleted Programmes

I Tried to install the PC Studio for a Samsung Mobile phone so I could download my images from my phones camera. Unfortunately I had all sorts of problems so I gave up. I went to the control panel and uninstalled all the segments that had been suposedly installed but weren't. Although I have uninstalled everything shown on the list, the bits of the programmes still appear in the Uninstall List as shown in the Control Panel.

How can I get rid of them please. I have been into "regedit" and removed them from the software lists, restarted my machine, but lo and behold, they are still showing.

You might check the options in the tutorial below to see if they may be able to help you remove the uninstall entries for it.

You may need to go back into the registry and do another search. Do the first search, and then hit F3 (Find Next) until you've removed all instances of your deleted application.

Just remember it's always best to backup the registry first (File/Export) and save it in your documents folder.

Failing that, you could try a system restore in Safe Mode to a point before you installed the application.

Another thing that you can do is an Advanced Search for all the remaining bits missed by your deletion of the program. Be sure to search the entire computer, not just the indexed files, and check the box that says: Included non-indexed, hidden and system files."
