To answer to your question. YES. It is safe to delete these files.
This is a good proctive approach in keeping your HD clean.
CCleaner does this also if you have the selection checked..

Thank you very much, Ridakash. You saved me a bomb! I bought a 60G SATA3 disk because the shop didn't have a 120G one. And it is bursting to the seams. I was about to buy a new one and thought that maybe I should check the internet for an alternative solution. And thank God, Seven Forums has the perfect answer! Now my C drive is back with 27GB free!!! Thank you once again Ridakash and Seven Forums!!!

An easy way to keep your temp files down is by using:
CCleaner | Run Cleaner button

Link to CCleaner in my signature.

For a more thorough approach:
TFC - Temp File Cleaner by OldTimer - Geeks to Go Forums

Incidentally, you may find:
WIN | type DISK CLEANUP | ENTER

to be of use.
WIN = key with microsoft logo on top.

I have purchased Advanced System Care and I couldn't help me on that at all. Disk Cleaner is even worse, so I had to do it manually. My, am I glad that I saved a bomb!!!

I find it best to change the environment variables so all temp or tmp file end up in the one directory, mine in C:\windows\Temp. I don't have to look in various locations for them. Quick shortcut to the desktop makes it easy to clean out.

cyclic,
doesn't stop many apps from creating their own "temp" folders.

Examples are readily found using TFC.

Chrome Bookmarks Recovery from AppData or AppData Recover?

Win 7, I deleted during disk clean up and manually from AppData all files, which includes Chrome bookmarks as well! I tried to restore system to recover chrome bookmarks, but they are not showing up any more...

Is there any way possible to get those deleted chrome bookmarks back, even if it is by any files/data recovery software? is there any way of getting Appdata restored back to its previous state with all temp and data files back?

I noticed after system restore, my recycle bin was showing weird name files, i restored all of them and several time it asked me to merge or copy / replace with existing files, I have only one system restore back for previous date, if it can be helpful, I would like to know the steps to make it useful and effective to get chrome bookmarks back anyway possible...

Thanks for your consideration...
