Deleting "Item Can Not Be Found" ?

So I just installed windows 7 and im trying to delete the Windows.old folder but there is a item inside that can not be deleted, any way to delete this?

Try using a utility to find / delete it. (perhaps via an admin CMD?)

i know how you feel i use a program called unlocker

it remove or delete or copy files by forces and also informs you if its successful.

Any other program like that that works on a 64 bit? unlocker doesn't work for 64 bit.

Just take ownership of the file and delete it...easy peasy

Every time i've had this message it's because the file has already been deleted. I normally just F5/Refresh the screen & it vanishes.

unlocker is like a magic
i can't delete it even from cmd, but unlocker does

Guys, it's SecuRom. It designed those files to be essentially undeletable.

I would try

del %appdata%/SecuRom/*

Via the command line, although I'm not sure if that's the command I used to remove those files I had before

I'd probably try https://support.securom.com/removaltool.html too.

UGH. I just can't remember what I did to delete those files.

It used to be. It's been available since May 7th for 64 bit Windows.
