If you remove a printer using Devices an Printers will you delete the driver or do have to do this through the Print Manager

Just go to Devices and Printers, highlite the printer, at the top where you add printer look far right it says Remove device click it and the printer should be gone. Then go to Programs and Features and uninstall the software.

If the software for the printer isn't listed in Programs and Features, then you need to uninstall from the Printers section. Open Devices & Printers, click on any printer, then click Print Server Properties along the top of the window.

Under the Drivers tab, you will see all installed drivers. You can uninstall any of them. I've found that if the printer is still listed, or you just disconnected it, you might be told the driver is in use. If so, reboot with the printer disconnected, and then try again.
