Solved Dell 703w installation

Since upgrading to Windows 7 from Vista x64, I have been unable to install my Dell 703w AIO printer. I have use dthe drivers installation disc to reload the drivers. I have uninstalled the software, shutdown and then tried to reinstall it both by using a dirent UBS connection between the printer and the computer and also by using the original installation disc. In the case of the direct connection, the error message is simply "installation failed." In the case of using the disc, the process will go all the way to the end and then literally reverse itself and uninstall itself. Thanks in advance for suggestions.

Have you tried to install the driver in Compatibility mode to Vista?

The P703w is supposed to be fully compatible with Windows 7. Have you downloaded the package from Dell?
