You'd have to run the Recovery Disks to restore the Recovery Partition since you overwrote it. If you failed to make the disks or receive them with the computer, you can order them from Dell Tech Support.

Or rely on the superior clean reinstall you apparently did, and back up a Win7 system image externally to use for recovery if Win7 ever becomes irreparable: Backup Complete Computer - Create an Image Backup
System Image Recovery

If you have not yet clean reinstalled Win7 and wish to do so, here is how to get a perfect reinstall without the factory bloatware: Reinstalling Windows 7

What kind of "bootable Win7 partition" did you create? Are you referring to a Win7 installation or some type of Recovery partition you made? Exactly how did you do this?

As far as inserting drivers into either a Win7 installation or a Recovery Partition, this is not necessary. The Win7 installer or Dell Recovery Disks (if that's what you're using) contain all of the drivers with few exceptions, and newer or missing drivers are quickly delivered via optional Windows Updates once you connect to the web to run Updates. Any drivers then missing can be found on the Dell Support Downloads webpage for your model.

This is not XP. Drivers are automated in Win7 installer and via optional Updates.

fresh bootable partition for dell laptop

laptop without os purchased..., its clean..... no patitions.
later got the os and dell drivers cd...
managed to created win 7 bootable partition ...
.
means -created by using 'cmd' command prompt. made the 20 gb partition 'Active' and copied win 7 cd into it and created it bootable by using commands. but not able to add other dell drivers to this recovery.
now i am able to load win 7 without cd from my computer.
but how can i add dell drivers also to that bootable hd recovery partition. so i can load all drivers both os and drivers without cds or dvds.

for example-
sony vaio with company installed win 7 .
'recovery partiton' includes.
able to load all drivers and os from it without cd or dvd by using 'f10' key at the time of error takes place.
uses 'vaio care center' to do it.

now how can i create the same in my dell laptop

Unless someone creates a custom Bootable Recovery Image which includes Windows, itself, and your laptop drivers, you might be out of luck mate.

A project like that is very time consuming & difficult.

I assume we could wait to see what others say though..
