Dell laptop and ipad mini graphics

i have dell vostro A860 laptop which is 3-4 years old

one of my colleague has ipad mini which he bought one year ago brand new
(he dont know which version it is of ipad mini)

i think ipad graphics are much better than mine laptop graphics

can somebody please explain to me why is laptop grahics are inferior to ipad graphics

when laptop is more expensive
