Hello all,
You guys have helped me before on a ram issue for my desktop. Now I'm having trouble with a Dell Latitude e5510 laptop. I'm trying to install windows 7 64 bit on it. I went through the install process and wiped the hard drive to start new (the hard drive was almost full of crap I don't use anymore, so I wanted to start fresh).
When the installation finished, it restarted itself for the first time, showed the Dell logo, then remained stuck at a blank screen with a flashing cursor in the corner. Nothing else. I was baffled by this, so I tried re-installing it again and it still won't boot.
Any ideas on what it could be or how I screwed it up?
Thanks,
Silas
