Looks like you have to start from scratch again.

1. Delete all partitions on your disk - make sure you save your user data first.

2. Create a primary, active partition large enough to accomodate your Windows 7. Use the bootable CD oaf Partition Wizard for that (last box on the webpage for the .iso that you have to burn to CD)

3. Install your Windows 7 into this new primary, active partition.

4. Once Windows 7 is running, you can either reimport your saved user data to the C partition or (recommended) create a seperate partition for the user data. If you need details on the best way to do that, post back.

Don't you have the key that came with the Windows 7 installation disc. From where did you get the Windows 7 and on what media.

We'll handle the partition problem once the key question is clarified.

If it is a legit Microsoft installation disc, you can use it as often as you like for installation with that key.

If it is an OEM installation disc, you can only reinstall on the system where it was initially activated. But that you can also use for multiple installations - on the same system.

Did you get the Partition Wizard bootable CD ?? That's the best tool to use.
