Hi,

Dell XPS 8500 Won't boot into safe mode or boot at all. i tried to run DELL diagnostics but the whole PC just went dead halfway.


pl advise. thanks!

Hi:

I am no geek or expert (just another home user).
But if you can't even get into the F12 Dell diagnostics, it sounds like catastrophic hardware failure.

And a Win7/64 Pro laptop; And a Win10/64 Pro desktop.
Dell PC's do a Power On Self Test (POST) when first powered on. Do you get any error (error code) there? If you get any code post it as I have a Dell error code listing.

Can you press F2 and enter the BIOS?
