To be honest, the design of the website is not essential to me. The quality of support is. Ever since Dell phone support is coming from somewhere in India, it's pretty much useless, since the people there are just reading scripted answers off computer screens. This might take care of some mundane questions, but anything even slightly non-trivial requires someone who can - or is allowed to - think. This is what's lacking in Dell support. The web design is rather irrelevant.
