I honestly don't know where to post this...so........yea

Anyways, as you can see on My System Specs, I'm using the Starter version of Windows 7, and personalizing the theme is a pain in the backside, but thanks to Oceanis Change Background, I can finally change the background.

But then, I did a very stupid thing, deleting authui.dll while inside a standard account. Thankfully, I can reinstall Windows via Startup Repair.

Anddd everything resetted.

So, I've installed Oceanis again, and changed the background, and rebooted my laptop. When I logged in, it just resets to the default crappy blue Windows logo background!

I've tried the Aero Patch too (which last worked fine before I did the stupid thing and reinstalled Windows), but it didn't work too!

What should I do to make the background stay in place? And, in another note, make the patch work?

Thanks in advance,
Tucker

P.S. Link to the Aero Patch I've mentioned earlier:

I use starter too. You should've installed Personalisation Panel 2.5 instead and then use the patch (beware! according to the developer, the patch tamperes your license, although you'll not get the notification - it is hidden - so use it if you really want aero on your computer). Or install UxStyle and browse the internet for third party themes.

I know this post is old and you already solved the problem but I'm posting this answer so others can see too. :D
