Desktop doesn't refresh.

Whenever I download a file, it won't appear on my desktop unless I manually refresh with F5.

Same goes with unrarring files, if I have a rar and I unrar it, the unrarred file will only appear by manually refreshing :S.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks for that link, but I haven't found anything useful.

I do remember now that I accidentally deleted the ''Desktop'' folder from my folder, (Which has the computer name) and restored it back, and since then I have to refresh.

Run an elevated command prompt and run sfc /scannow to see if you have any corrupt system files.
