Hi, I can't get my desktop icons to arrange alphabetically. No matter what I do besides uncheck, auto arrange, align to grid etc. and move them myself. If I sort by name I have some that stay in same place and never move.

I've searched and couldn't find anything similar to this.

Have you considered using something like ObjectDock or RocketDock to launch you programs, rather than desktop icons? It's much easier and neater.
