Hey,

I have this desktop for some years now and recently it started messing up, sometimes it doesn't boot and shows a No Signal error on my LCD.
There are different things that happen, randomly:
1 - When it doesn't boot, it makes a weird noise that sounds like a "mini tractor trying to start the engine" and it won't beep.
2 - One other thing that happens when it doesn't boot is an annoying continuous buzz and it won't beep.

Sometimes it happens when I just randomly turn on the computer, I would say 40% of the times I turn it on. It also happens when I leave the computer and it goes to sleep, it won't get any signal too.

I have already tried getting a new power supply since I found googled it could be a possibility but didn't work.

Does anyone have any idea on what could the issue be?

That doesn't sound good. I guess motherboard has a bad capacitor? and perhaps a failing fan.

Try loading defaults in BIOS. But I am not very hopeful.

I've already tried loading defaults in BIOS and updating it and didn't work. I am afraid that is really a motherboard issue.

You might consider, on another computer, create a Puppy Linux bootable DVD or USB stick, using Mount and copy, get your data onto external media.

I can access and use the computer most of the times, when it doesn't boot I'll just force shutdown by holding the power button and retry to power it on and it works most of the times. I can still use it normally, I was just wondering if there's any fix because sometimes it's kind of annoying the fact that I have to keep powering it down and on again.
