Solved Desktop Theme Images Don't Advance

This is something that just started recently and I can't figure it out -

The desktop background themes that have multiple images won't change / advance to the next image.
They look normal - theme selected, time interval selected, all images selected, etc. I can advance to the next image manually, but the automatically advance feature has stopped.

I have uninstalled / installed new themes, etc - no change.

Any ideas?
