Desktop Vanished.

Hello! This is my fist time on a forum so ....! My icons are gone, cant pin to taskbar, can't create shortcuts, can't browse for folder selection. It all came back one day about a week ago then gone baby gone!!! Havent seen it since then. I cant "Save as" either. No way to select folders for importing either. I was thinking it was related to dwm.exe but thats as far as I got! Sure would appreciate any help!!!

using explorer.exe's file manager gui -- c:\users\[acct name]\desktop -- that folder might still exist; does that folder still exist?

Press CTRL ALT DELETE
Start TASK MANAGER
In [Applications] click the [New Task] button:
Type: explorer.exe
Click [OK]

You should now have your Desktop icons back.

Hello Bunny! Thanks so much for your help! When I got home from work today everything was back and I still don't know how it happened but....oh well! I didn't even think about explorer so thanks for the advice!! I sure do appreciate it!!!
