Solved desktop zoomed in too much

Was asked to look at a coworkers computer this morning. The desktop was zoomed way in and when you moved the mouse the desktop moved so you can navigate whatever was shown on the desktop. I went into display settings and everything was fine. I restarted the computer (she said they tried that already) and now it works normally.

What would make the desktop super zoomed in?

Maybe Windows default program called Magnifier was opened?

A little more info. It was in fact magnifier that was causing the issue. Another coworkers son was "using" the computer and must have been pressing buttons.

The Windows key plus the + and - keys zooms the desktop. I wasn't aware of this keyboard shortcut.
