device called E/

After I moved all the files in the device called E/ .. there is still some about 40 giga in it ...
Why?

I made a local disk empty from any files .. but it still has 3.9 GB used .. WHY?? I removed all the files and folders .. this is the Q

Make sure that you don't have any hidden files.

Also,if after this there is again space used on disk,you format it,and create new partition with the same size.

Hm.. This is bit strange. Did you tryed to format the partition ? If you don't have anything on that partition,just right click on the partition and select Format.

I did format without making any changes to the options or anything ..

Hm.. Try to delete that partition using:

and create new partition there.

Then should be ok...

(Be carefull to not delete wrong partition ! )
