Devices appearing

hi,

i have had two new devices appear in my device manager, SM Driver (SM bios service) & Microsoft eHome Infrared transceiver. The Microsoft eHome Infrared transceiver is to do with my infrared but why has it installed now when i've had the CIR Driver installed for a couple of months now and what is SM bios service? Very strange :confused:.

Any help on this would be much appreciated :D

The drivers or compatiblity for those components may have been installed or upgraded with Windows updates.

All the devices are working. If it is because of windows update then I'll leave it as it is. I just thought it was a bit weird that they just appeared. Thanks for replying :D

I had the eHome device show up when I set up my hauppauge tv card with Media Center.
