DHCP

If i want to assign every device on my network an ip manually, should I disable DHCP on my router? or won't it make a difference.

As long as you won't have any guest devices that might expect to get an IP address automatically or perhaps a virtual machine..you can safely disable DHCP after statically assigning everything else.
